Andrea and Byron are world travelers who just want to share their little piece of heaven on Siesta Key with you! Byron is retired and Andrea is employed full time at a pharmaceutical company.
We have two comfortable places for you to stay with all the basic supplies you would expect at home. We live in the area and are available should you have any issues. Meals are not included but the condo does have some basic condiments and spices. There are toiletries in the bathroom and all linens and paper supplies you need.
Our location, hospitality, cleanliness and attention to detail has earned us repeat business year after year.
Condos are located the intercoastal waterway side of Siesta Key. It is less than a mile walk to the public beach and a free trolley stops right in front of the complex. There is covered parking for one car per condo. Each unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. One condo has a view of Gulf of Mexico and the other has a view of the pool.

In season the unit rents for ~$250+ per night. Out of season it rents for ~ $175 + per night. 7 day minimum rental. Saturday check in. Additional fees are $200 cleaning fee and 13% occupancy tax which is collected and passed on to the state/county.

Our week's stay was wonderful. The entire place was completely clean from top to bottom. Did not have any issues. Our host was completely friendly and helping with any questions. The complex amenities had everything you could need. Pool, grills and a dock that my son and I caught many fish on. We also learned to play Pickleball. The complex also has tennis too. The complex was also super clean. The beds are so comfortable! When going to the beach, you can load chairs, cooler and umbrella onto the Breeze Trolley. They will drop you off at one of the beach access points. We will return again.

We had a great time! The condo was located perfectly for beach access, shopping and dining. The bay was utilized and great for catching fish. Our kids got great use out of the pool and loved walking around the grounds. We will definitely be back next summer! Highly recommend!

Everything we needed was provided. There were beach towels, beach chairs, two bicycles, and sand and water toys to borrow. It does not sit right on the beach but to us that didn't matter. It is only about a half a mile drive to the Siesta beach public access. So easy to find. If anyone I knew was going to siesta beach I would definitely send them to stay here. When we arrived there were two bottles of wine and a nice welcoming card sitting on the table. Andrea was an amazing host . I will stay here again if we decide to return to that area . You cannot go wrong choosing this condo to stay in!!!!!

You won't find more responsive host to any issues. we had none, but every question was responded to in minutes, even out a few months before. Personal suggestions for things to see, eat and do were spot on. We had a welcome note when we arrived and a surprise. The view from the screened Lanai is awesome. All matching Broyhill furniture in better shape than we expected, was a nice surprise. Plenty of towels and basic needs including bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and such for the beach. It might not sound like much but we were really glad to see two ice containers in the freezer. We used a lot of ice and the ice maker kept up with us. Minutes to the beach with access to the the free trolly right in front on the condo property. Don't waste time driving to the beach. We circled the big parking lot for 20 min on Monday and finally gave up and went back and took the trolley. I would suggest you get on and ride there first day there to see what is around and where it goes. The various free ride groups that work for tips are quick access with smiles, to the entire island also. Jerry's gave us $5 off coupons for several restaurants. If we return to Siesta key, we will definitely be trying to book with Andrea again. Don't hesitate if it's available.

Bay Oaks Condominiums is a intercoastal waterway side resort All of the condos in Bay Oaks Condominiums are located across the street from the beach. Our E95 is located on the 5th floor in building E, which is on the southside, parallel to the beach; the condo has a small ocean view. E64 is on the 4th floor in building E on the southside parallel to the beach. The condo has a view of the pool from the lanai.
2. SMOKING: This is a NON SMOKING unit. A $500 penalty will be charged if there is evidence of smoking or vaping.
3. PETS: Pets NOT permitted in rental condo at any time. A $500 penalty will be charged if there is evidence of any unauthorized pets in the property.
4. MINIMUM AGE: Bay Oaks has a minimum age for renting. We cannot rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
5. DAMAGE – will be charged to your credit card account if:
a. there is damage to the condo or its contents;
b. charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay;
c. debris, rubbish and discards are left inside the condo;
d. soiled dishes are left in the sink or dishwasher;
d. keys or parking passes are lost;
f. damage, lost or stolen linens;
g. smoke inside the condo;
h. pool passes are lost or not left inside the condo upon departure;
i. check-in early or check-out late;
j. violation of any of the resort rules that incur fines or penalties;
j. trash not properly disposed of. All trash and refuse must be placed in the trash chute around the corner from the elevator. No trash is to be left outside doors or on balconies at any time. Strictly enforced. A fine of $25 per day, if trash is left outside the door or on the lanai.
6. PAYMENT : A down payment of $350 is due at the time of your reservation. An advance payment equal to 50% of the remaining rental rate is required ninety (90) days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due sixty (60) days before your arrival date. Unless otherwise specified the subsequent payments will be automatically charged to your credit card on the due dates listed above.
The charge will show up on your credit card as Sunset Plunge LLC. On occasion your credit card bank might call to verify that you have authorized the charge. Please remember to authorize all payments. Failure to authorize charges that result in falsely reported fraud or unauthorized payments will result in a penalty to the renter up to $100. If you wish to pay via check or a different credit card or by PayPal you must notify us prior to the due date. If you chose to pay by check, checks must arrive on or before the due date. If payments are not received on time or if your credit card is declined, the reservation may be cancelled and previous payments become non-refundable in compliance with the cancellation policies listed below.
The state of Florida and the county of Sarasota require a combined total of 13% tax of the amount collected for rent and cleaning fees.

7. CANCELLATIONS : A ninety (90) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made less than ninety (90) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 100% Cancellation fee. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. Full refund if canceled 90 days or more before.
8. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS: Monthly renters must cancel ninety days (90) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in and must return the 10% discounted fee.
9. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guests per condominium is limited to six (6) persons (any ages; children included, at least one person over the age of 25 required). Prior approval is needed for any additional persons. An additional charge or $50 per person per night for guests in addition to four (4) will be assessed. Unauthorized extra guests could result in eviction.
10. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A SEVEN (7) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than seven days, the guest will be charged the seven-night rate.
11. INCLUSIVE FEES: Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.
12. NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE: Linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily housekeeping service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the condo.
13. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS: Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in or may be evicted.
14. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS: Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
15. PARKING/ PARKING PASSES: Parking is limited to one (1) vehicle. Vehicles are to be parked in the designated parking spot #46 for E95 and #65 for E64. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees and is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Additional cars require a guest pass. There are two hangtags in the welcome book. One is to be used for parking in the designated parking spot and the other can be used as a guest pass. Guests not properly displaying their tag may be fined. You are required to fill out the parking registration and turn it into the office upon arrival.
16. SICKNESS/COVID/HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY: No refunds will be given, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
17. TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com for details and to purchase.
18. The condo will be in clean and working condition. No compensations will be given for non-working items outside the owner’s control, including but not limited to power outages, cable TV outages, internet outages, etc. For items inside the owner’s control, the owners will make every attempt to rectify problems that may occur while you are in the condo. It is the renter’s responsibility to notify the owner immediately if there are any problems. No refunds or any other compensation will be given for the problems that the owner is able to rectify within a reasonable time frame.
19. The condo is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
